HBO-level education and thinking skills, preferably in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field; Experience in procurement, supply chain, inventory management, logistics, or a similar operational role; Strong analytical skills and experience working with sales, inventory, and planning data; Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel; knowledge of planning or inventory management systems is a plus; Strong organizational skills and a structured approach to work; Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with various internal and external stakeholders; Proactive, reliable, and meticulous, with an eye for detail; Excellent command of the Dutch language; Proficiency in English is required, as you will be working closely with the team in Germany; Proficiency in German is a plus.

As a Purchasing & Stock Control Specialist, you are responsible for the entire purchasing and inventory management process within your product categories. You monitor inventory levels, align orders with expected demand, and ensure that products are available on time.

What are you going to do?

You will work closely with our Category Managers, our logistics partner, and the team in Germany. Together, you will ensure a reliable and efficient supply chain that aligns with our commercial objectives and supports our continued growth.

Your responsibilities

Procurement Management: managing the entire procurement process, from creating purchase orders to order confirmation, follow-up, and delivery;
Inventory Management: determining, monitoring, and optimizing inventory levels, safety stock, reorder points, and replenishment parameters;
Forecasting and planning: analyzing sales forecasts and translating them into purchasing and inventory plans;
Delivery Monitoring: tracking outstanding orders and ensuring timely delivery;
Collaboration with Category Management: aligning purchasing decisions with product assortment plans, commercial objectives, and expected demand;
International collaboration: Regularly coordinating with colleagues on the German team regarding purchasing, inventory, and product availability;
Logistics coordination: maintaining daily contact with our logistics partner regarding deliveries and inventory changes;
Problem-solving: identifying and resolving delivery issues, delays, and discrepancies with suppliers;
Data analysis: analyzing inventory performance and identifying opportunities for improvement in terms of availability and efficiency;
KPI monitoring: tracking metrics such as service levels, inventory turnover, inventory coverage, and supplier performance;
Process Optimization: Actively contributing to the improvement of procurement, inventory, and logistics processes.

What do we expect from you?

We are looking for a proactive and organized professional who takes responsibility, can easily switch between different tasks, and enjoys working with numbers and processes.

Desired profile
