Can Touch support the Nationale Postcode Loterij in their mission to support local businesses in times of Covid19?

The Touch Approach

During the first months of the Corona pandemic, the Nationale Postcode Loterij launched a special campaign to support local businesses in an economically difficult period. On behalf of the Nationale Postcode Loterij, Touch has therefore developed 2 new gift cards;

  • The Lokaal Verscadeaukaart; € 10.00 to spend at the associated local fresh product specialists
  • The Ijscadeaukaart: €7.50 to spend at more than 1,750 locations throughout the Netherlands

Touch has completely unburdened the Nationale Postcode Loterij; from the development of the gift card and the associated platform to the technical processing, sourcing and contracting of the merchants. Touch has also provided support in the development and distribution of POS materials for the merchants

Results

  • Within 3 months, 2 new gift cards to support local businesses were successfully introduced on behalf of the Nationale Postcode Loterij
  • The Nationale Postcode Loterij has issued a special prize pool worth 17.5 million euros in gift cards to the catering industry and retailers during this campaign.
  • Also outside this campaign, the gift cards are amply used by the Nationale Postcode Loterij as a gift in various draws in order to continue to stimulate sales with local businesses.
