5 questions for Olaf Bijl
1. How do you start your working day?
I often arrive at the office around eight o’clock. I then open my email, check which tasks have urgency or need to be completed on the day in question, and then make a daily schedule in.
2. What are your activities on a day?
Most of the time I am busy building and mapping campaigns for Albert Heijn and Etos and all the secondary matters that come with it. We are emphatically looking for a strong, attractive deal for consumers at an appropriate time of the year. We then agree with both our client and the supplier how we can organize the campaign as completely and clearly as possible for the consumer.
3. Which project or final product to which you contributed makes you proud?
We contributed directly and indirectly to making the collaboration with Mentha possible. This allows us to take steps (internationally) on a larger scale. An incredibly nice step as a company to increase our possibilities and to operate on a new playing field!
4. What makes your job so enjoyable?
Because we work with parties whose reach is very large, it becomes clear what impact our collaboration has on consumers. It is great to see how large numbers are making use of the promotions and how promotional and communication materials can be seen on a national level, both in physical stores and in the digital world.
