5 questions for Ali al Bana

1. How do you start your working day?

My workday starts by default with a cup of coffee to wake up properly. While enjoying this, I start up my laptop and check my calendar on my mobile phone. Depending on how quickly an appointment follows and/or whether there is anything I need to do for it, I start scanning my mailbox to filter out urgent matters.

2. What are your activities on a day?

My duties vary from day to day. If I have to categorize this into different categories I obviously spend a lot of time on account management/sales, deliveries/day-to-day management of existing programs and switching with different colleagues to serve my customers well, think about Marketing, Development but also Service and Purchasing.

3. Which project or final product to which you contributed makes you proud?

I am, of course, proud of all delivered savings programs, but especially the ones that contain a lot of customer-specific customization. Think of a.s.r. Vitality, Citizen Consul Club, Tegelgroep Nederland and a number of Ingram Micro programs. In addition to programs fullfilment links such as Workhuman and Collinson/KLM.

4. What makes your job so enjoyable?

The fact that my workday is never the same makes it so much fun but also keeps it challenging. One of my core values is accuracy and honesty. If I can make a customer happy and score a nice sale my day can’t go wrong.
