5 questions for Henriette Bruurmijn

Henriëtte has been working at Touch as Category Manager since 2018.

1. How do you start your working day?

I start the day with coffee. If I have appointments at the office I get in the car around 7:30 and listen to the radio (during traffic jams) and if I work at home I start by checking my mail.

2. What are your activities on a day?

I am responsible for the product range of physical items. I have a lot of contact with suppliers and the purchasing department. I have many appointments with suppliers to purchase new products, update the product range and make price agreements. I make the proposals for articles with external parties such as ING, KLM, Pluimen and Workhuman.

3. Which project or final product to which you contributed makes you proud?

Obviously on all projects. But as Category Manager I am proud when I hear from customers that we have a nice product range with beautiful A-brands. And that we develop the relationship with our suppliers into a partnership so that we can get the best conditions from a collaboration.
