5 questions for Melanie de Man

Melanie has been working at Touch as a Service Agent since 2025.

1. How do you start your working day?

We start at 8:30 a.m. here at the office. The phone lines open at 9:00 a.m. Before that, we have a brief meeting and can deal with our own ticket queries.

2. What are your activities on a day?

There are various tasks and mailboxes. At the moment, I mainly work in the ticket mailbox. Here, we answer all questions about purchased tickets for outings or handle cancellations. Contact with both customers and suppliers, which is enjoyable!

3. Which project or final product to which you contributed makes you proud?

I haven’t been working here at the office for very long, but basically I’m proud of everything we do. We need to know everything about everything that’s sold, and we’re the point of contact for all questions. I’m proud of our team; there are no stupid questions. We always help each other out.

4. What makes your job so enjoyable?

It is a very varied role, because we manage so many different platforms. I enjoy helping customers. When they express their appreciation, it is always nice to hear.
