1. How do you start your working day?
I enjoy cycling to the office on my electric bike, which is a great way to wake up. Once I arrive, I start with a cup of coffee and a cup of tea while I calmly go through my emails to get the day off to a relaxed start. This way, I’m completely ready for a productive day!
2. What are your activities on a day?
In my role, no two days are the same. I work with various departments on a wide range of projects, from new sales processes to our long-term loyalty programmes.
Some projects are short and focused, such as promotions, while others have been running for years and we continue to improve them. I keep our programmes up to date, produce monthly reports and analyses, and work with the Category team to set up great deals and promotions.
3. Which project or final product to which you contributed makes you proud?
On the benefits programme for Oogwereld and the Hart voor de Zaak programme, which we are currently developing for donors to the Hartstichting (Heart Foundation).
4. What makes your job so enjoyable?
No two days are the same. As the linchpin, I ensure that projects are set up properly from start to finish. The great thing is that I not only set the course, but also configure and execute a lot myself.
That variety and responsibility make my work challenging and dynamic. I love it!
